Oscar Wilde assured us (with some help from elsewhere), that: ‘sarcasm is the lowest form of wit …. but the highest form of intelligence’?

In that light: if we are blessed, then, as we age, we gain understanding and insights. Thus, it is only recently that I have become aware of the many and subtle forms of ‘anti-Semitism’.

But now that the brilliant and generous spirit of  ‘the Donald’s’ remarkable intellect (?) has brought us ‘peace in the Middle East’ (and at least 8 (eight) other countries), we can suddenly see how the ultimate prejudice – ‘anti-Semitism’ – becomes manifest even when ‘the so-called innocent’ are continuing to die in large numbers.

Can you imagine how it is even possible that, when you are digging in the ruins of your former home, ‘properly’ destroyed because a cousin of a suspected Hamas operative had once been observed having coffee there, you would not immediately know which of the 32 bodies rotting under the debris – women and children included – are Jewish?

Not to put too fine a point on it:  ‘How is it possible that those bigoted savages cannot even discern the light that emanates from the purity of the Jewish soul, even when the body is deceased?’

Worse still, the grotesque denial of human rights in returning the bodies of our loved ones is rendered even more painful by the pitiful excuses being proffered purely by an inhuman, ‘right wing’  regime against a people whose loved ones suffered inhumanely in an earlier time within living memory …..  albeit, perhaps, not entirely at the hands of the people of these lands.

Meanwhile, all across Gaza, the IDF, in its reasoned and reasonable response to Hamas’ violence and inherent anti-Semitism, has, with great efficiency, enabled the search for (almost 30) Israeli citizens amongst 160,00 bodies  – by creating 55 million tons of rubbish. All done, in part by deploying  American Jews in business suits to proselytise the acquisition by ‘the Donald’  of his well-earned Nobel Peace thingie. Also, but merely in passing, allowing those around Jared Kushner to build a new Mar-a-Lago on the Med and thus generate huge wealth for the Palestinians (well, maybe – or some of those that are not forcibly evicted from their so-called homelands).

Honestly,  some people are never grateful!

To illustrate the levels of deception these creatures, and their friends, will descend to, it is now suggested that the generosity of spirit, that inhabits the very soul of each Israeli, is doing ‘anything wrong’ in arming some Gazans who are really nice folks, and monetising them, before allowing [enabling?] them to go into Gaza and kill HAMAS murderers even if they happen to be – or pretend to be – Gazans’!

Moreover, having thus ‘enabled’ the ‘fight for justice and freedom’, why would the inherently decent Israeli government not give those same ‘freedom fighters’ safe sanctuary by allowing them to cross back into the new lines and seek safety in areas controlled by Israeli troops? These are troops, by the way, who are, uncontestably, protecting Israel’s ‘vested and legitimate interests’ as they are giving aid to injured citizens and, in so doing, showing the inherent Israeli generosity and devotion to democracy – although occasionally mistakenly firing upon groups of hungry Palestinian children.

Clearly then, if HAMAS, or anyone else, violates the ‘peace process’ by attempting to stop these ‘voices of justice’, then surely, in fairness, Israel has every right to protect them?

Reports to the contrary are, decidedly, nothing but another sad example of the rampant ‘anti-Semitism’ that is incipient in today’s world – or rather, the world outside the innate justice and sense of fair play that is transforming ‘Trump’s America’.

As Proverbs 16:18 tells us: “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall”.
